What's everyone reading these days?

I want to be more intentional about reading a book a month.  This seems doable.  So, what has inspired you in life, marriage, parenting or just a good read.

  2. I just finished reading this book called Love Does by Bob Goff. It's amazing and challenged me in how to love people.

  4. Radical Womanhood: Feminine Faith in a Feminist World by Carolyn McCulley. AWESOME. Currently reading it in my girls group/discussion.

Instructing a Child's Heart Tedd & Marcy Tripp. We just started that one but I loved Shepherding a Child's Heart that this one just seems like a win/win.

Gabe just listened to Dave Ramsey's book Financial Peace while going to work in the mornings. He has shared the gist of it with me and we're in the process of instituting many of his principles.

The Power of Motherhood by Nancy Campbell- Just a fave

Understanding Your Child's Temperament by Beverly LaHaye- Great for parent's and even understanding yourself and spouse! A good one to have on the shelf to refer back to often.

Surprised by the Power of the Spirit by Jack Deere

That is a start right?! Good for you!

  7. Hi Em! Have read in the last month "Hotel on the Corner of Bitter & Sweet", "Outcasts United" and "Seven: an experimental mutiny against excess". Loved the first, liked the second, and you would like the third! All this before school began, however. Now I'm reading "How to teach writing" again!!!!!
