Andy and I are so enjoying this season of life. Saying no to outside commitments and yes to everything family. More being, less doing in essence. These precious gifts change and are only under our roof for a very short time. School starts when the girls have played inside and outside til their little hearts are content. River is spoiled and held every chance I get. When I put him down he is quickly scooped up by daddy or a big sister. It feels so freeing to embrace whatever area or situation God has placed you in and rest in it. Not strive or keep up, but simplify and seek His Kingdom first.

We were 21 when we got married and my tastes have changed (not in the husband department). I was way over our dishes so I headed to Goodwill. Look at the treasures I found!

Do you ever start mopping...

and then you notice some gross stuff in between the stove and cabinet. And that leads you to notice the chips in the paint from chairs banging into them repeatedly. And then your husband says, 'I've been noticing a lot of cobwebs, could you take care of that?' And then instead of cleaning you want to just paint or move because it would be easier in some ways. So today begins the spring cleaning list. I'd love to hear what's on your spring cleaning list?
