I remember the first day I brought Lily home, crying to Andy that she would one day leave and go to college.



I'm feeling that way again. Claire is coming up on her 4th birthday and was literally crying tonight before bed because she wants to stay little. So being the responsible, logical parent that I am, I started bawling right along with her.

Why do they have to grow up so fast?

Just so you know, I pulled it together and told her that birthday week includes cake every morning and a movie whenever
she wants. What other choice did I have, she was breaking my heart? I think I may have been dooped...

That have asked for pictures of our costume party, this is for you. We had a blast! Erin and Nicholas took first place as Wedding day Ken and Barbie. They looked perfect. Second place went to Megan and Annalee Loomer who came as us, that's 'River' she's holding. Third place went to Steve and Megan as the Amish couple. Honorable mention were Derek and Nicole as 'Dumb and Dumber.' We went on a hay rack ride, that's right people hay rack. At least Virginia was there to back me up. You can't possibly have a party without mafia and telephone. Good times, thanks for coming!
